Description Last week I tried to keep track of my yawning time to see at what time of day I more likely to yawn. So I tracked my yawning time for 7 days, and use different color, shape and number to present on my sketches. At the same time, in order to make my data more readable, I used the sun and the moon as background to represent the time of day. Also, for each day I am using different cartoon character to represent myself. They are arranged progressively to represent the passage of a week. "It‘s Yawning time" is the slogan for this data graphic. My graphic is very easy t read that I use settimeout for each day and labled the days on each data, in the end I have the overall data page.
Data observation
I think it's a very interesting thing to track my own data that I found lots of interesting fact.I used to think that yawning was a normal thing and that I might yawn at any time. After tracking the data, I found that I was most likely to yawn when I woke up, at 5:06 p.m., and during class time. And I'm easily influenced by other people's yawning, and if I see a person yawning I'm also very likely to yawn at same time.
Design challenge
I think it is very difficult to visualize data in p5, and I didn't do a very good job on this assignment. The first challenge I encountered was letting my data to dance. I really wanted to animate my data, but unlike xinxin's example, I have sets of data,it would be very confusing to get it moving. So I only use the animation for each day and try to use the position to show the movement.Another challenge I am facing is to make my data interactive.I hope to make it more interactable but I missed that.I will try to achieve it in the future days. Overall, I did learn lots of things from this assignment that I feel like I know myself better now.
